My first trial, The Nyonya Pineapple Tart January 2, 2009
Posted by admin in : Me , trackbackAfter getting the reassurance from miche, immediately I headed to kitchen and start to weigh the flour and prepare all the necessary ingredients. Btw, until now only I remember that I forgot to sieve the flour!
The first two tray of the pineapple tart is too ‘pale’ when it out from the oven, so I decided to apply some yolk onto the third tray of pineapple tarts to make it nicer in color. But, still it is not as pretty as what I saw from the net.
However, being a first timer, I think this batch of pineapple tarts is considering not bad lah…. LOL Although the pastry is a bit thick and the portion of planta is not enough to make the dough with better texture. Both CN and miche told me the same mistake I have made.
Do you think that the tarts look nicer inside the container? Hahahaaa……
